Abstract	The purpose of this article is trying to combine the Study of Ancient Writing and Cultural Anthropology in order to discuss the explaination by Jeng-Shyuan﹙鄭玄﹚ in the certain chapter of the-Book-of-Odes﹙詩經﹚, which is "As a baby boy was born, his parents put him on the bed because boys are important and precious. On the contrary, as a girl was born, her parents put her on the ground for girls are worthless ".
