| Abstract |
This article is based on 《Outline of Siku Complete Works, Category: Yi, Division: Classics, – Manuscript Complied by Weng Fang-gang》 (herein referred to “Weng’s manuscript”). Weng’s manuscript contains 22 kinds of literary works filed and 2 kinds unfiled in Siku Complete Works, and another 61 kinds are listed in table of contents without text. Weng outlined the categories classified in Siku and provided detailed commentaries. In the first section, I describe the historic context of Weng's manuscript. It was originally collected in Sir Robert Ho Tung Library in Macao and then transferred to Macao Central Library. Second, I focus on the category of Yi, the division of Classics, and study his commentaries. I collate Weng’s manuscript and compare with 《General Index of Siku Complete Works》. In the conclusion, I highlight the characteristics, versions, and the literary value of Weng's manuscript.
