| Abstract |
This article discusses the meaning and context of specific Chinese ancient character in volumes of bamboo tablets at Chu area in Warring States Period. These bamboo tablets are collected by Shanghai Museum (herein refers to “the volumes in Shanghai Museum”). In comparison with the bamboo tablets unearthed from Kuo Dian, I notice the related form of some Chinese ancient characters. When crossreferring to Confucius comments on《The Book of Odes》, I suggest a proper explanation of these characters.
