Abstract |
The present academic research on Qian Jibo's literature mainly focuses on his publications of the history of literature. Qian Jibo's Wen Xuan editions about the practices in teaching scenes were rarely discussed, not to mention the significant Mo Fan Wen Xuan. In light of this, we specifically selected Mo Fan Wen Xuan as the subject for this study. First, we review the versions, the styles and the writing purposes of Mo Fan Wen Xuan. Second, we attempt to learn more about Qian Jibo's position of writing through the attitudes towards the New Trend of Thought that Mo Fan Wen Xuan implies and its literary genre . Third, we address how“以動者尚其變” was implemented in the criticism of certain articles through the observations of critical terms such as "頓挫". Last but not least, we discuss Qian Jibo's claim of “以動者尚其變” in order to have a better understanding of the intellectuals' positions as they faced the trend of the times in the 1920s. |
