Abstract Lu-Chia was one of the greatest thinkers since Han Dynasty. His thought was heir to Pre-Chin Dynasties. He was the first scholar who created a new model for the Confucians of the Former and the Latter Han Dynasties to blend various kinds of theories into an integrated concept, in his statement which he presented to Han Kao Tzu, the first emperor of Han Dynasty, he earnestly advocated the humaneness and morality of Confucianism, and defamed the crucial punishment of Legalism, the incognito retirement of Taoism, and the eagerness for immortality of Celestialism. On the other hand, he also adopted the political power of Legalism and the inactivity of Taoism. His theory was quite practical. He praised the old systems, butt never was he restricted by them. He skillfully compensated the inactivity of Taoism with the orderliness and ethics of Confucianism. Furthermore, he applied the theory of cosmology and the statement that regarded natural disasters as the relation connected with man and nature, based on which he used them to support political purposes. His thought sufficiently represented the concept of those scholars of Han Dynasty who would cover everything but diversified with flexibility
