Abstract Synopsis: Since the delighten administration of the Wen-Ching Period (in Han Dynasty) had passed away, the Huang Lao ruling theory from Daoism virtually was not so much concerned. On the other hand, folk sciences and acculism from the other branch of Huang Lao theory was becoming popular. Focussing on the regimen of Daoism, they had associated with theories such as the cosmolozy based on the transformation of Chih (cenergy), the Five Elements from Yin and Yang, and the occulism of becoming immortals, which theories had been popular since the Warning States Period, then dominated the politics, culture, and all aspects of society in Eastern Han Dynasty for nearly one century. They even conceived a Chinese local religion--the Daoism, which can be proven from 《Tai Ping Classic》, the early religious scriptures of Daoism. The content of 《Tai Ping Classic》 was focussed on the regimen of Daoism in the previous Chin Dynasty, from which it associated with the theory of essence and spirit, the theory of body and form, as well as the principles that Yang (masculine) is superior to Yin (feminine). For several times of transformation and forced interpretation, it had been asserted from the substance to cosmology, then regimen, and finally induced to theology and occultism, introducing the occultism to cultivate ones body and spirit capability, which had become the basic theory of daoism for cultivating oneself to attain divinity and immortality.
