Abstract Synopsis: The supreme fulfillment of a traditional Confucian is to be sagely within and kingly without. The statement of "all creature as an organic whole" was one of the most significant theory advocated by Wong Yang-ming, which was also the foundation to fufill the ideal of being sagely within and kingly without. Wong Yang-ming had based on this ststement to distinguish Confucianism from Buddhism. I intend to illustrate the connotation in Wong′s thought of "all creature as an organic whole", from which manifest the character of such a great theory. Further. I would like to set forth the spirit of Confucianism for being sagely within and kingly without on the basis of all creature as an organic whole, and then discuss the similarity and difference between Wong Yang-ming′s theory and Buddhism. Keyword: Good concience, to feel and to respond, all creature as an organic whole, to illustrate illustrious virtue, the learning of mind, Sagely within and kingly without, Mind is truth.
