Abstract |
There are numerous arguments about meanings and words in Chuang Tzu, which come to a conclusion that “words could not express meanings to the full”. Confronting such a predicament, Chuang Tzu posed the concept of “attaining the meaning and forgetting the word”. Chuang Tzu tried to address the dilemma by means of “forgetting”, in an abstract attitude, to transcend the constraint subjectively and reach the state of utmost beauty. |
