| Abstract |
Forging the Swords written by Lu Xun in his “Stories” is one of the best novels. Yet, many disputations over the unusual description were caused. Its content was about tales or anecdotes but additional characterizations were added. However, based on the historical nature, Lu Xun has put his strong personal ideology in the story and that brought out a clear distinction and ironic satire to the society. His unique style has resulted in certain agitation. Forging the Swords absolutely reveals his style in the new historical stories. According to the history background, development, literature ideology and story meaning the study aims at understanding the real spirit of Lu Xun in his works.
