Abstract |
The existing letter-themed classified books published in the Song and the Yuan dynasties, especially the birthday ci poems selected into their “Category of Birthday Celebration,” are one of the important sources of the ci poems not selected for The Complete Ci Poems of the Song Dynasty. The article first compares the two versions of Qi Zha Rei Su collected by Japan’s Sonkeikaku and the National Library of China, explores their differences, and clarifies their features of ci poem selection. Then, since the “Category of Birthday Celebration” is the category that collects the most poems in letter-themed classified books, the article investigates two books that have similar arrangements to the “Category of Birthday Celebration” of the Heavenly-Brocade Letters. These books have a lot of overlapping ci poems, which can be used to supplement the origins of the ci poems. Finally, the article finds 46 ci poems not selected for The Complete Ci Poems of the Song Dynasty. |
