| Abstract |
There are many fractions about Confucius in the Inner Chapters of Zhuang-Zi. However, how Zhuang-Zi comments on Confucius is still an issue. There are also many records about Confucius in the Outer and Miscellaneous Chapers, but the explanations are much more complex. I put the focus on the fractions about Confucius' poverty-stricken in the Outer and Miscellaneous Chapers. I find Zhuang-Zi's apprentices had different descriptions of the image of Confucius. Through the opposing comments, the collisions of Confucian and Taoism appear. But it also includes many possibilities for the communication between Confucian and Taoism. Furthermore, through the research above, I try to check out the image of Confucius in the Inner Chapters and analyse the problem of the relation of Confucius and Zhuang-Zi .
