It goes without sqaying that the Guodian Lao Tau makes people spending a lot of time to research. This article compared with different text of “Lao Tzu”—Exampled by chapter 18 ‘大道廢，有仁義’ which edited by Wang-bi, and found some results: First, the word ‘古(故)’ is connected with different chapter, and the text of edited by Wang-bi is missed this word. Second, the word ‘孝慈’ may be the word ‘孝子”, and ‘孝子’ is better than ‘孝慈’. Third, the word ‘昏’ may be the same with ‘汙’ or ‘濁’. Fourth, the text of Guodian Lao Tzu may be closed to the original “Lao Tzu”. Finally, the end of this article is trying again to explain chapter18.
