| Abstract |
The organization of writing is the way to present an article. It is a logical structure to combine sentences into a paragraph(sentence group), and then to combine paragraphs into a piece of writing. Such a logical structure is inherent and originated from human senses, reflecting to the rhythm of universe and the cycle of life. Most people, including me, are not conscious with such senses. However, we are able to project them to our thinking and writing. The projection and reflection is related to the philosophy and science—something about our logical thinking. I try to find out the philosophical basis on which the organization of writing is reflected. I discuss the logical structure of Chinese philosophies, primarily on two classics,《Book of Changes》and 《Lao Tze》. I define the organization of writing as an “objective existence”, which involves the logical structure. To support my proposition, I explores the Four Rules as well as the patterns and transformation(including shift and transfer) of the organization of writing. Further, I highlight the “multiple, binary, and unitary” structures. There is a binary element(parallel—toughness/tenderness) bridging the diversity and unity. From this point of view, we may find another way to study literary, aesthetics and philosophy.
