Title The Buddhist and Taoist Philosophy In Chu Shi's Poetry
Author Lin Jia-rong
Page 165~188
Abstract Chu Shi had shown great interest in Buddhism and Taoism. In his early poems, he had expressed inclination toward the easiness and aloofness of living. Notwithstanding his conversion to Confucianism and had bitter critique of Buddhism and Taoism, he frequently refered to the tranquil mind and profound thinking that buddhism and Taoism implied. From Chun Shi's poetry, I explore his philosophical inclination and analyze his conversion in three aspects:1)Pursuing for Buddhism and Taoism in his early life;2)Turing to criticize BVuddhism and Taoism;3)His inclination to the philosophy of Buddhism and Taoism.
