| Abstract |
This article succeeds to my serial studies on《The Dream of the Red Chamber》. There are six sub-titles in this article as listed below. 1.Addendum of Chih’s Running Communt on Chia-Hsu Version. I supplement those contents under correction. 2.An inspiration out of 《The Post Dream of the Red Chamber》authored by Yu Duan. He noted that《The Dream of the Red Chamber》is not an autobiography of Tsao Hsueh-chin. According to the textual research, Yu Duan’s notion was credible since the manuscript he possessed was the first edition modified by Tao Hsueh-chin. 3.Royal Duke the Forth, according to speculation, might be the anonymous duke the second. 4.The four characters, Hsueh Pao-chin, Xing Hsiu-Yen, Lee Wen and Lee Chee, were supporting roles who enriched the variation of the plot development. 5.The twelve actresses. I analyze the implication of their names and their outcomes. 6.Chia Lan and Tsao Ying. Chia Cheng infers the author—Tsao Yin(i.e. Tsao Hsueh-chin). The location of Grand Spectacular Garden should be in Nanking.
