Abstract The organization of writing is the way to present an article orderly. Its principle is originated from the common rules of logic. Chinese rhetoricians had noted the generality in the organization of writing long before. However, they did not see the wood for the trees. When one is trying to analyze the organization of a poem of prose, he may find difficult to apply the available rules to the article. Recently, numerous scholars attempt to study the organization of writing, and gradually developed a system. At present, scholars have sorted more than thirty categories, but the job is not completed. This article lists some specific arrangements which are common in the organization of writing; that is, the arrangement of partial and global, the punch line and embellishment, Heaven(nature) and Human(matters), background, and indirect suggest. I give examples from classic poems and prose to illustrate these organizations, and analyze their structures with a table.
