Talents, knowledge and education form the basics of one’s literary style. On the other hand, such a basic style is often influenced by his experiences. In respect of Su Shih, who had experienced the vicissitudes of life, his poetic style represented different surroundings in different periods. At the first stage, his poetic style tended to be profound. At the second stage, He presented an unfettered inclination. And at the third stage, he displayed a delight of plainness. This Paper is intended to analyze the poetic style of Su Shih in accordance with his experience.
