Abstract In the history of Chinese mythology, the Queen Mother of the West is a goddess that spanned thousands of years. The myth of the Queen Mother of the West is also one of the most important myths of female gods in China. To this day, the belief of the Queen Mother of the West still shows its vigorous power, and its mythological narrative is also present in contemporary Taiwan and even Southeast Asia and other Chinese living areas. accepted, restated and recreated. In different time and space contexts and fields, multiple narratives are developed according to the time, place and person. The research and analysis of the contemporary myth of the Queen Mother of the West is an important topic in the study of the myth of the Queen Mother of the West and the development of beliefs. "Yao Ming Gui Pan"is one of the important documents to explore the history of belief in the Queen Mother of the West in Taiwan. There are not many monographs in the academic circle, and most of them are discussed at the religious level. However, after examining its content, this book is expressed in a large number of mythological languages. Myths undoubtedly have an important and key position in"Yao Ming Gui Pan". The research in this paper does not focus on the analysis of religious sects, but from the perspective of "mythology", and further compares it with the types of Western Cosmogonic myths. The types, narrative functions and symbolic meanings of cosmogonic myths in "Yao Ming Gui Pan"
